Edge of Dawn
Primary 5v5 battlefield where Epic and Tragic forces collide around Scriptiums.
The Edge is not one battlefield. It is a belt of war-fragments, each shaped by a different contradiction in Gallusar’s world.
The War-Fragments of the Edge
Each battlefield is a torn fragment of the Edge, repeated until stone learned the shape of war.
Battlefields and modes should show that HotDA is built for long-term live-service variety: competitive PvP, objective modes, trials, sieges, raids, and narrative instances.
The primary 5v5 map is the cleanest expression of Gallusar’s repeated war-cycle: lanes, Scriptiums, Shades, objectives, and heroes caught between Epic and Tragic interpretations.
Other battlefields can shift the grammar: three-lane clarity, multi-front capture, payload relics, rotating command objectives, or narrative PvPvE pressure.

A mode should not exist only because it is fun mechanically. It should express a piece of the Severance.
Bardic Trials test the Bard Link. Siege modes expose heroic institutions. Story Modes reveal Gallusar’s machinery.
Future seasons can introduce new maps as discovered shards rather than simple content drops.
This framing makes new gameplay feel like an expansion of the world’s cosmology.
