Saga
The north shall thaw its oath.
The oldest prophecy of Gallusar’s end is incomplete. Each Legacy preserves one stanza. The final line is missing because it must be chosen, not discovered.
The Missing Final Line
The final line is not hidden in an archive. It waits for a living Bard to choose it.
The Last Unwritten Verse gives HotDA a mythic endgame without locking the story into one answer. The final line belongs to living Bards.
Each Legacy carries a different apocalypse tradition: thawing fate, roots reaching the wound, the vow refusing glory, a parable without moral, a bell without hand, ancestors stepping forward, the sun rising unpaid, the horizon opening, and the witch naming the author.
All are true. None are complete.

Gallusar cannot consume an ending no one has written. He cannot repeat the final line because it does not yet belong to the archive.
The prophecy is therefore not a dead answer. It is a space reserved for player agency, seasonal culmination, and the moral question at the heart of the IP.
The demon may be destroyed, starved, rewritten, sealed, dissolved, or dangerously inherited by a Bard who mistakes control for freedom.
The bible should not answer the final ending too early. Its power is that the last line remains unwritten.
